Leadership Program

This leadership course is broken into two phases. This allows youth to establish a social, emotional, and spiritual foundation before an in-depth focus on leadership-specific skills.

PHASE 1: FOUNDATIONS

Awareness & Intentionality

Establishing a starting point and growing on purpose.

Week 2

The Mirror & Reflection

Seeing the value in ourselves and others & learning to pause to reflect.

Week 3

Goal-setting & Obstacles

Identifying a path toward goals and pushing past setbacks.

Week 4

The Rubber Band & Trade-offs

Seeking challenges and making difficult choices.

Week 5

Environment & Modeling

Finding our teams and seeking mentorship.

Week 6

The Ladder & Contribution

Character development towards a life of impact.

Reframing misconceptions about failure and looking beyond with a leadership vision.

In addition to participating in leadership lessons and activities, students will collaborate on a Leadership Project of their design. This will be presented at the culmination of Phase 2. John Maxwell says, “There is no transformation without application.” By executing their leadership ideas, students will put their new leadership skills into practice.
