Nice to meet you. Here’s a little about me:
Originally from Ohio, I moved to the Eastern Shore the summer after graduating college with a Communications degree. What was supposed to be a temporary stay turned into a permanent move when God called me into the math classroom of a public middle school. Within a week, I discovered a love for my students unlike anything I have ever known. It became very clear to me that I am called to serve this young generation.

The beginnings of Vessel Initiative
While attending a math conference, I began to realize that, without the kids, my passion for teaching was not there. I realized that math was not my calling; the kids were.
Slowly, gradually, God called me to leave my teaching position altogether. I had dreams of combining my love for strength training with youth development. Over the course of several months, the vision for Vessel Initiative began to form.With a new horizon ahead, I became focused on building a program to strengthen today's young generation through exercise and leadership coaching. I became a NASM certified Personal Trainer and I joined the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team, allowing me to receive training and licensure to utilize Maxwell's leadership content.My heart's desire is to use Vessel Initiative to equip youth to confidently step into their sphere of influence, fully prepared to make a positive impact on their worlds.
